The Chapels Society Newsletter has been published three times a year since January 2009 (it was previously published twice a year). It is sent to members in January, May and September and contains information about events of interest to members, short articles of original research, and reviews of books and other shorter publications such as individual chapel histories. The Newsletter is edited by the Honorary Editor, Chris Skidmore and the Society always welcomes material for publication. Contributions should be sent to 46 Princes Drive, Skipton BD23 1HL.
For the benefit of those carrying out research, we have compiled a list of the contents of Newsletters 1-64. All major articles included in the Newsletter are listed, but not small regular features such as Address Book, Intelligence, Noticeboard etc.
Under book reviews the titles and the names of authors (or publishers) are shown, and normally the names of reviewers. Reviews of less than ten lines are generally not listed.
The ISSN 1357-3276 appears on the Newsletter from issue 12 onwards.
We also have an online archive of Newsletters.
